The annual West Mids prelims saw great success for the club. Medals were won by club gymnasts at numerous different grades. Congrats to everyone who competed; you did yourselves and the club proud! Special congratulations to Sarah and Cara who won Grade 4 pairs and now go forward to represent both the club and the West Midlands region in the National Finals in May.

 

The club christmas show was a huge success and enjoyed by all. The theme was Broadway and all gymnasts and trampolinists were given the opportunity to perform a part in the show.

 

The club is genuinely sad to see the departure of two members of our recent National Finalist trio, Pippa and Tereza. Pippa is off to University and we wish her all the best. Tereza is returning to her native Slovakia, Both girls will be greatly missed by everyone at the club, and we wish them well.

Having won the Grade 3 Womens Group at the Regional Prelims in February, Cara, Pippa and Tereza represented the West Midlands region in the National Acrobatics Final at Fenton Manor. The girls performed 2 amazing routines, 1 of which was filmed by British Gymnastics TV (BGtv) and can be seen below (requires the flash plug in).

The Club attended the recent West Midlands NDP Acrobatics Prelims and had a very successful day. Gymnasts from the club were placed in six different grades. The club are very proud of all the gymnasts who competed.
